Experiment Plan

Experiment plan is a series of scheduled events to remind you "when to do what" on an experiment. For example, if you want to treat a group of mice with drug A every three months for three times, you can make a plan like below:

The program will remind you if the status is pending ("Done" not checked). You can always get the ongoing plan in the task calendar. The date with a pending plan event is marked like below:

To turn off the alarm, select the "Done" checkbox in the event list. Different from cage and mouse reminders, the event of the plan is saved in the database even when you turn off the alarm after work done.

Please see Add New Experiment on how to add experiment plan when adding new experiment.

To update the plan in the existing experiment, open the "Experiment" window first, then select the "Experiment plan" panel. In the panel you can edit the plan information.

In the "Today's tasks" window, "Ongoing" indicates the number of events whose status is pending and start date is earlier than today; "Reminder" indicates the number of events whose status is pending and start date may be later than today, but the reminder is activated according to the setting of reminding days.
